3rd & 4th Year Commercial Electricians

Alta Pro Electric Ltd. (AltaPro) is currently seeking 3rd and 4th Year Apprentice Electricians with commercial experience to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta.

Compensation:
-3rd Year Apprentice: $30.10/hour
-4th Year Apprentice: $34.40/hour
(Journeyman rate $43/hour)

Job Responsibilities:
-Install and run various types and sizes of conduit
-Safely use hand tools and power tools
-Work safely at heights using ladders and approved procedures
-Pull and terminate conductors
-Install a variety of electrical devices
-Perform work in accordance with commercial electrical standards and practices
-Operate MEWPs (scissor lifts and boom lifts) and use fall protection equipment
-Work effectively with foremen and crew members while following direction

Requirements:
-Must be a registered 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice with commercial experience
-Valid CSTS 2020 (ACSA)
-Fall protection and MEWP training (in-class only)
-Harness and 6' shock absorbing lanyard
-Reliable transportation
-Own set of hand and power tools (specialty tools provided)
-Strong team-oriented attitude
-Fluent in English, both written and verbal
