Buyer Analyst I

The Power Workers' Union (PWU)requires individuals to work as Buyers through the PWU Hiring Hall at Bruce Power.

The PWU has a Hiring Hall for supplying Bruce Power with a casual workforce to fulfill peak staffing needs.

Buyers purchase a specialized range of products and services from a number of local, national and international vendors. Additionally, Buyers negotiate contract conditions, perform complex evaluations, claims and adjustments.

Qualified candidates must have a Grade 12 education and a 2 year course in a program such as Business Purchasing. PMAC, APICS or SCMP would also be an asset. Lastly, candidates must have greater than 6 years work experience in a Buyer role to be considered qualified.
